Yellowstone National Park - September 2014
There were moments here where I felt like I was on another planet. What an amazing and beautiful geothermal playground. Unbelievable.
Grand Teton National Park 2014
I didn’t really focus on taking many pictures during this trip. I have no film to develop. Only some low quality iPhone photos. I wanted to keep my phone in my bag and just focus on my surroundings. I was so moved by what was in front of me and soaked it in much deeper by remaining detached from the desire to take photos. I can still remember the overwhelming refreshing scent of the pine trees that hit me the minute we opened the car door. I can vividly remember what the sunset looked like over the Tetons. I remember how my chest felt driving through the winding forest. The feeling of curiosity and pure joy that came with hiking alone in the mountains and doing whatever I wanted. The tears that came to my eyes when I looked up and saw the Milky Way as clear as I have ever seen it. I lost my breath so many times and had to stop at least a thousand times to just say, “wow”. It feels amazing to stand in front of one of the natural titans of the Earth and feel like a small speck. Nature is my God. Forever and always.
